When switching between life and work online accounts, the number of passwords to remember quickly racks up. Throw in sites requiring you change your password periodically and you've got organizational mayhem. Practical and reliable, Passpack frees you from having to search through spreadsheets, emails and notes to find a long-lost login.
To each his own. Passpack gives you the tools to file your data the way you want it, with tags. So instead of putting your passwords into a folder "personal", you'd tag it "personal". Clicking on a tag, is like opening a folder – you'll see all the entries contained within. Except old-school folders require you to pick one folder and stick with it, or create folders within folders within folders. Ick!
Tags don't have those limitations. You can add as many tags as you want to a password entry, and you'll be able to find what you're looking for with just one click on a tag. For example, your Amazon.com password can be tagged both "shopping" and "books". Your Macy's account can be tagged both "shopping" and "clothes". If you click on the "shopping" tag inside your Passpack account, you'll see both your amazon and your Macy's entries. If you click "books" you'll see Amazon only.
Play around, have fun and ask for help if you need it.
