How Does It Work?

Legal Mumbo-Jumbo
Hey bloated SSO,
you're not welcome here!
We've got affordable
password management
for everyone.
Now SCAT!
What We Do
We relieve password fatigue, and offer an alternative to Single Sign On (SSO) for small business.
Why We Do It
We built Passpack because, as couple of high-tech business partners constantly on the go and with a bazillion online accounts, we desperately needed a tool to manage our passwords. Since there are plenty of folks just like us, we made it available to all, and we made it affordable.
We believe access to data privacy applications should be an unalienable right. We're working hard to make that a reality.
Step one, the Passpack online password manager offers users 100% data privacy.
Step two, Passpack has released an open source library so that any developer can build her own data privacy application.
Step three... Ok we're not telling you step three yet. But here's a hint:

Who Built This Awesome Product?
To date, Passpack is managed by friendly co-founders Tara Kelly and Francesco Sullo.
Tara Kelly
President, Co-Founder
President and co-founder of Passpack, Tara received a bachelors degree from the Rhode Island School of Design where she was an early adopter of web-based technologies including design and programming. Since relocating to Rome in 1996, she has brought numerous small and medium Italian businesses online. Tara was partner and administrator at former Alianet.it Srl where she played an integral role in the user interface design and usability of the Minister of Internal Affairs Emergency Call Center software. From 2005 to 2007, Tara owned and operated web design company Katytid.
Francesco Sullo
CEO, CTO, Co-Founder
Francesco, co-founder of Passpack, benefits from a highly unique mix of education with formal training in both physics and music. He began his career as a technical writer for computer magazines, leaving in 1996 after having achieved the position of Editing Director. Francesco then found his niche as a web programming pioneer as the owner and chief architect of one of the first user-generated content sites in Italy - ArteNet. He has since held senior developer roles at CapGemini as part of the development teams for companies Tim and Wind and continued in the field as Managing Director of Internal Communications of Blu.
Thanks to their unfaultering dedication and the support of the Passpack community, this little password manager that could has continued to grow. To boot, Passpack has garnered incredible media coverage: PC Magazine, Cnet's Webware and NBC Nightly News and (we've heard) even presented as an NBC website of the week.
